Cucumbers

IngredientsSpices
coconut asafoetida
cucumbers black mustard seeds
yogurt curry leaves
dried red chili peppers
fenugreek
green chili peppers
ground red pepper
salt
turmeric

Directions

  1. Cube cucumber and cook with salt.
  2. Grind mustard seeds, green chili, and coconut
  3. Mix ground spices with yogurt.
  4. Add dash of turmeric, asafoetida, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour into cucumber and heat through without boiling.
  6. Separately, fry mustard seeds.
  7. Add fenugreek, dried red chilis, curry leaves.
  8. Fry briefly and then add to yogurt as garnish.
